- Strengthen the coordination with local research institutes and organizations on studies, researches and information related to the oil industry.
The Technology and R&D Strategy was to be implemented in five phases according to the following:
- Phase 1: Research and Development Infrastructure.
- Phase 2: Technology Process Design.
- Phase 3: Value optimization in the oil sector.
- Phase 4: Learning and Knowledge Sharing.
- Phase 5: Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure.
