Set the minimum size and configuration of
the fleet to provide strategic cover for
shipping crude oil, petroleum products and
LPG to international markets in crisis
situations and inline with international
market requirements.
Within the above strategic cover limitation
on the fleet, provide an economic and
reliable source of CIF transportation for
Kuwaiti cargos.
Manage the fleet to the highest standards of
efficiency, effectiveness and flexibility
(i.e. operate, charter to third party or
buy/sell vessels) to meet changes in
marketing requirements and to be
economically viable.
Initiate a business process reorganization
effort for the transportation activity
focusing on the processes and links with
International Marketing to improve the
efficiency of this activity.
Pursue partial or full privatization of
transportation activities, marine agency and
the LPG bottling plant.
