KPC Supports CAN Cancer Campaign

As part of the quest to demonstrate its
social responsibility, through
supporting various social activities and
initiatives that raise health awareness,
KPC sponsored the latest Cancer
Awareness Nation “CAN” campaign that was
launched recently to spread awareness
about the role of physical activity in
preventing cancer. The advertisement was
broadcast at several T.V local stations
as well as the local cinemas.
KPC was spurred by its objective to
underline that cancer can be prevented
by adopting a healthier lifestyle and
making right dietary and behavioural
choices. The campaign stressed a key
fact that a mere daily thirty minute
physical sport can minimize the chance
of getting cancer. Notably, the American
Cancer Society recommends that adults
engage in at least 30 minutes of
moderate to vigorous physical activity
to prevent cancer.
