KPC and Subsidiaries hold workshop with several Norwegian Companies
In the light of the Memorandum of Understanding that was signed between the Kuwaiti government, represented by Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries, and the Government of the Kingdom of Norway in February 2016, for cooperation in the areas of research, development and technology for the oil and gas industry, KPC’s Research and Technology Department held a workshop on Wednesday May 25, 2016, to discuss the proposals presented by a number of international Norwegian companies.
The workshop commenced with a welcoming speech delivered by Mr. Fahad Nouri Manager Research and Technology at KPC, stating that he is looking forward to a constructive cooperation between KPC and the Norwegian companies.
From the other hand, both Norwegian Ambassador and Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Norway in Kuwait delivered two speeches to express the happiness of their country to be cooperating with Kuwait Petroleum Corporation in the field of research, development and technology.
At the conclusion of the workshop which was attended by representatives from Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries, and from the Norwegian companies, the audience praised the great organizational efforts and scientific content of the workshop with the recommendation to continue to hold such workshops because of their prominent role in building bridges of cooperation , exchange of expertise and scientific knowledge and open areas of partnership to serve the Kuwaiti and the Norwegian oil industry.
